If you are going to visit Australia’s Northern territory, I recommend you to check out Lake Amadeus. It is about 50 km of Uluru or Ayers Rock. This huge salt Lake Amadeus remains dry and coated with thick crust of salt. It has some water only the heavy rain is coming. Around the Lake Amadeus, there are dozens of red sand islands above. There are not much plants because of the hard crust protecting the tree root from digging in.
